A spoiled hotel heiress, newly engaged to an image-obsessed influencer, takes a skiing fall in the week before Christmas and wakes with no memory of who she is. A widowed lodge owner and his young daughter take her in at their struggling inn, where she learns to pull her weight while they try to keep the place open through the winter. A Netflix Christmas romcom with Lindsay Lohan and Chord Overstreet.
A spoiled hotel heiress falls off a mountain a week before Christmas, loses her memory and wakes up in a struggling family lodge, where a widowed dad and his daughter teach her to make beds and mean it. Lindsay Lohan is good fun, the snow never stops and a mysterious chestnut seller keeps things on track.
The romance is thin and every turn is signposted, but that is rather the point. Hot chocolate, feet up, nothing to worry about.
Our take: rated PG by the BBFC for language and threat. The scariest moment is a skiing fall and a bump on the head, and the romance stops at a kiss, so the kids can watch this one.
