About the show

Trey Parker and Matt Stone's foul-mouthed animated satire about four boys in a small Colorado mountain town, first shown on Comedy Central in August 1997 and still running. The series grew out of The Spirit of Christmas, a short Christmas film its creators made in 1995, and Christmas has been one of its favourite targets ever since: a festive figure who lives in the sewers, a Christmas spent with an escaped Charles Manson, a mission to bring Christmas to Iraq, and a sweet woodland Christmas special that turns satanic. These are adult episodes, rated 12 to 15 in the UK, and they are some of the sharpest and most outrageous Christmas television ever made.
