Still Open All Hours Christmas specials

About the show

Roy Clarke's sequel to his 1970s and 1980s sitcom Open All Hours, with David Jason back as Granville, who has inherited the corner shop from his miserly late uncle Arkwright and now runs it with his son Leroy. It began as a one-off on Boxing Day 2013, the most-watched programme of that day, and ran to 41 episodes over six series until 2019, the regulars including Stephanie Cole, Maggie Ollerenshaw, Brigit Forsyth, Johnny Vegas and Tim Healy. Christmas was its home: the 2013 special and the openers or finales of Series 2 to 6 all went out on BBC One between 23 and 28 December, five of them set at Christmas, and the 2019 Christmas special proved to be the last episode.
