One Foot in the Grave Christmas specials

About the show

David Renwick's sitcom follows a grumpy, accident-prone man forced into early retirement who finds he has far too much time on his hands, to the despair of his long-suffering wife and their neighbours. Richard Wilson and Annette Crosbie starred from January 1990 to November 2000 across six series. Its specials became a fixture of BBC One's Christmas week in the 1990s: seven went out between 27 December 1990 and Christmas Day 1997, from a Christmas Day soup kitchen to a 90-minute holiday in the Algarve, and all seven are on BBC iPlayer.
