About the show
An animated Fox sitcom created by Loren Bouchard about a family who run a struggling burger restaurant in a shore town: a put-upon cook, his relentlessly cheerful wife and their three odd, loyal children. It began on Fox in 2011 and Disney+ now lists sixteen seasons. Its first two seasons aired only in the spring, so its first Christmas episode came in December 2012, and it has made one almost every year since: a road chase with a candy-cane truck, a mall Santa feud settled on ice, an hour-long Christmas musical and a night of three school performances that many critics call its finest half-hour. Its holiday stories mix real peril and adult jokes with a sincere belief in family.
