Judith Kerr's accident-prone cat stars in a Christmas calamity with a generous heart, brought to the screen for Sainsbury's.
Christmas preparations meet their match in Mog. Judith Kerr's much-loved cat sets off a series of mishaps that threatens the Thomas family's celebrations in Sainsbury's 2015 campaign.
Kerr worked with Sainsbury's on a new story in support of Save the Children. James Rouse directed the film for AMV BBDO, with Outsider producing and Framestore bringing Mog to life through visual effects and animation.
An original score by Rachel Portman gives the story its musical shape. Released on 12 November 2015, the advert offers a festive meeting point between children's books and screen storytelling.
Includes a house fire, peril and family distress before a reassuring ending.
