Buster watches the garden wildlife enjoy a new trampoline before deciding Christmas morning should be his turn.
A trampoline is waiting for Bridget on Christmas morning, but the garden animals discover it first. Buster can only watch their nighttime fun from indoors.
John Lewis's 2016 advert makes room for a big comic payoff. Directed by Dougal Wilson for adam&eveDDB, it builds its joke around the sheer pleasure of bouncing.
Vaults perform One Day I'll Fly Away on the soundtrack. The official online upload runs for two minutes and ten seconds, so it is slightly longer than the two-minute description often used for the campaign.
