The story
Why it stays with you
A treasured Mickey Mouse toy connects a grandmother and granddaughter in Disney's 2020 Christmas story.
Lola's old Mickey Mouse toy carries a lifetime of memories. As her granddaughter grows up, their shared Christmas traditions begin to slip away, until a thoughtful surprise brings them back together.
Disney's first From Our Family to Yours advert gives a familiar character a supporting role in an intergenerational family story. Griff sings Love Is a Compass, an original song written by PARKWILD.
The animated film launched in November 2020 as part of Disney's campaign supporting Make-A-Wish. Its combination of handmade traditions and a well-loved toy makes the act of remembering feel like a gift in itself.
First shown 9 November 2020. Playback checked 15 October 2026. Video availability may change.
